Scope

This prevalent and contemporary international congress fosters basic and clinical (therapeutic) fields of pharmacology, bringing together pharmacologists from all over the globe to meet, discuss the latest developments in pharmacological sciences, to build collaboration networks, and to get an opportunity to listen to and interact with the world's leading pharmacologists. The congress offers various topical themes, satellite meetings, workshops, plenary lectures, symposia and more on research, practice and education of basic and clinical pharmacology.

International body & host
The WCP2014, which will be the 17^th World Congress under the auspices of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR), will be hosted by the South African Society for Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (SASBCP).
