WCP2014, an international meeting on Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, attracts health professionals, scientists, educators, pharmaceutical industry and policy makers. It brings together pharmacologists from all over the globe to meet, discuss the latest developments in pharmacological sciences and therapeutics, to build collaboration networks, and to get an opportunity to listen to and interact with the world's leading pharmacologists. The congress offers various focussed symposia on topical themes, satellite meetings, workshops, plenary lectures and more.

Being held in Cape Town, the meeting will also furnish your visit with a memorable social programme and a uniquely South African cultural experience, not to be missed!

WCP2014, the 17^th World Congress under the auspices of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR), will be hosted by the South African Society for Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (SASBCP).

You are cordially invited to participate in the identification of key topics, sessions & mini-conference themes for the scientific programme [link].

Calls for formal, full proposals of session & focused conferences will be invited in the 2nd half of 2012. You may also then prepare proposals for official pre-conference satellite meetings. You are most welcome to contact the Programme Committee with any comments, questions or requests.
